Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Kathern Louise Stout, 62, of Gassaway, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. She was born in Cleveland Heights, Ohio on July 26, 1959 to the late Darcy Dale and Mary Ellen Nottingham Brady. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Stevie Ray Stout (1999); son, Donnie Ray Stout (2017); brother, Roger Dale Brady (2021); and grandson, Joseph Chance Carroll. Kathern worked as an EMS dispatcher for many years. She was deeply involved in her grandchildren’s’ lives. She loved being called “Nan Nan”. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, and you could often find her canning vegetables that she grew in her garden. She also enjoyed cooking and baking and teaching others what she had learned over the years. She made famous hot rolls with a recipe that has been passed down to family and friends. In her spare time she loved vacationing in Florida at the beach with her son and grandkids. She was a great neighbor and would help anyone. She had a wonderful smile and beautiful blue eyes. As a mother and friend to many, she will be deeply missed. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Leonard Ray Stout and wife, Gemma Michelle Stout, of Navarre, FL; daughter, Tammy Lynn Stout Morris of Gassaway; brother, Russell Lee Brady and wife, Michelle, of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Lexie Michelle Stout, Sydnee Michelle Stout, Samantha Denise Morris, Gabriella Marie Morris, Lilliana Grace Morris, Cody Ray Stout, and Titus David Workman.
