Arthur “David” Belt, 75, of Duck entered into rest on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Hubbard Hospice House surrounded by his family.

He was born on August 22, 1950, in Clay County to the late Bacil Belt and Frances Wilkerson Belt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Haag Belt; infant sister, Rejeana Belt; infant son, Arthur David Belt, Jr.; sisters, Alice Anderson, Mollie Young, and Judy Belt; brother, Charles Belt.

David was a sawmill worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He will be sorely missed.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Rejeana Belt (Kirt Dooley) of Kanawha City; sons, James Belt, of Duck and Cody Belt and wife, Erica, of Watertown, NY; grandchildren, Seth Stewart (Courtney Bevins), Tyler Stewart, Joseph Stewart (Chantel Black), Kayla Mullins and husband, Austin, Remington Belt and Delilah Belt; great grandchildren, Emersyn Stewart, Lincoln Stewart, Harper Stewart, Colt Mullins, and one expecting; sisters, Polly Belt, Debra Belt and Mary Belt Howard; brothers, Joe Belt, Tony Belt and Johnny Belt; and several nieces and nephews.

David’s graveside will be 12 Noon on Saturday April 11, 2026, at Walnut Grove Church Cemetery, Strange Creek with Pastor Freddie Schoolcraft officiating.
