Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Richard A. “Rick” Rose, 70, of Gassaway, WV passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 due to complications from the Covid virus. He was born on October 3, 1951 to the late Dana A. and Mary Edna Cutlip Rose. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Ann Bowling and nephew, William Houston Mitchell. Rick graduated in 1969 in the last graduating class of Gassaway High School and worked on the railroad for 30 years. He is survived by brother, James “Jim” Rose (Roberta) of Gassaway; sisters, Joanna Smith (Gary) of Meridian, Idaho, Elizabeth “Libby” Wilson (Harold) of Gassaway and Marlene Mitchell (Bill) of Gassaway; two uncles, Robert Cutlip of Florida and Jack Rose of Ohio; 11 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. A private graveside service will be held at the MP Cutlip Cemetery on Cutlips Fork, Gassaway, WV.
