Denver L. Belknap Sr., 70, of Minerva, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021.  He was born May 25, 1951 in Gassaway, West Virginia to the late Donnie and Juanita Belknap.

Denver was owner/operator of D L Belknap Trucking Inc. for 50 plus years.  He was always smiling, laughing and enjoyed traveling, fishing and hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Belknap; brothers, Wendell Belknap, Denzil Belknap and Carlin Belknap; sisters, Mary Norman, Vera Norman and Wilma Belknap.

Denver is survived by his wife of 50 years, Norma; children, Barbara Belknap-Worrell (Danny), Denise Belknap-Hart (Robert) and Denver Belknap Jr.; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers, Russell Belknap, Frank (Tina) Belknap, Wes (Lori) Belknap and Wade Belknap and sister, Kathy Hall and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 P.M. Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway.  Denver’s Funeral will be 2 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Richard Propst officiating.  Burial will follow in Hosey Cemetery on Trace Run, Exchange, WV.
