Her funeral service will be 1 P.M. Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Sugar Creek Baptist Church with Don James officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Interment will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery, Gassaway.

Claudine Dennison, 82, of Gassaway, peacefully entered into her heavenly home on Sunday, May 28, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was born July 22, 1940 in Gassaway to the late George Irving Patrick and Elvie Josephine Perrine.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson, Ryan Richardson; siblings, Kathleen Stewart (Orval), Birchard Patrick (Wanda), Eugene Patrick, Pat Nottingham, Harold Patrick (Rose), Grace Hatch (Harry), Jewell Porter (Ben), Boots McLaughlin (Chalk), Bill Patrick, Ray Patrick (Alice), Myrtle Givens (Gene), and Rena Calvert (Cecil).

Claudine loved the Lord, had a servant’s heart, and was always helping others.  She was a lifelong member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church.  Her favorite pastimes were spending time with her children and grandchildren, listening to gospel hymns and crocheting.  She will be deeply missed.

She will be forever remembered by her husband of 64 wonderful years, John Dennison; sons, Gary Dennison of Gassaway and Bobby Dennison and wife, Janice, of Evans; daughters, Julie Dennison of Gassaway, Lori Ludwig and husband, Greg, of Hurricane, and Tracy Utt and husband, Tom, of Sutton; grandchildren Robbie Dennison, Jami Dennison, Sarah Kiser, Chase Singleton, Beth Knowles, Jeremy Ludwig, Jacob Ludwig, Jackson Ludwig, Joshua Ludwig, Logan Utt and Easton Utt; brother, Punk Patrick and wife, Skinny; and sisters-in-law, Caroline Patrick and Sue Eubank.  Claudine is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
