Devin Jackson Reeder, 29, of Sutton passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia surrounded by his family.

He was born in Buckhannon on March 4, 1995, to Jonathan L. Reeder and the late Carolyn Sue Flint Reeder.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jackie Flint; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Reeder; and father-in-law, Richard Gendreau.

Devin was a master plumber and a foreman for Finnie Plumbing. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing. He had a positive personality and spending time with his family was his favorite. He also liked gaming. Devin was a 2013 Braxton County High School graduate.

He is survived by his wife of eight years, Christa Eileen Gendreau; father, Jonathan L. Reeder; brother, Chad Reeder and girlfriend, Lorien Gendreau; niece, Avienna; maternal grandmother, Barbara Flint; and paternal grandfather, Nolen Reeder; and mother-in-law, Bonnie Gendreau.

Devin’s visitation will be from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, WV.

His funeral will be 1 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Robey Godfrey officiating.

His burial will follow at Reeder Family Cemetery, Runnion Ridge, Strange Creek.
