Timothy Paul Withrow, 65, of Gassaway passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

He was born on July 10, 1957, in San Luis Obispo, California to the late Samuel J. Withrow and Mary “Joanne” Rollyson Withrow.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine Withrow.

Tim graduated from Santa Rosa High School, Santa Rosa, California in 1975.  After high school he joined the military where he worked on aircraft in Alaska.  He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served his country for almost 10 years before entering civilian life again.  Tim obtained a degree in Computer Science where he maintained his Grade Point Average at 4.0.  Over the past 20 years he worked at West Virginia Junior College and Glenville State University.  He had many job titles when he worked; some of which were College Professor and Information Technology Consultant. In his spare time, he enjoyed repairing and using computers, computer games, and watching Sci-Fi movies.  Tim had a photographic memory.

Tim will be forever remembered by his sisters, Diane O’Dell, of Oregon, Teresa Turner and husband, Shane, of Georgia; former brother-in-law and good friend, Mark O’Dell and wife, Debi; nieces and nephews, Jacob, of Gassaway, Andrew and wife, Amanda, of California, Adam and wife, Harley, of California, Christina and Stephanie, both of Washington State, April and husband, Matthew, of Georgia.  He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be at 2 P.M. Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Roach Funeral Home in Gassaway. Interment will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery.
