Myrtle Frame, 85, of Sutton, passed away on March 6, 2023 surrounded by her family at Braxton County Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Sutton on February 9, 1938, to the late John and Ina Hamrick Mullins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Frame; and sister, Violet McElwain.

Myrtle had a passion for gardening. She owned and operated Frame’s Nursery for 15+ years. She was a homemaker who raised her own garden and canned everything from her harvest. She enjoyed baking, working jigsaw puzzles and watching the Game Show Network. Myrtle was a graduate of Sutton High School.  She spent time watching her favorite team, The Atlanta Braves, on television.  She loved her family dearly and enjoyed each moment with them.

Myrtle will be fondly remembered by her daughter, Terri (Les) Vidal of Sutton; sons, Jerry (Amy) Frame of Sutton and Tom Frame (Jordan Reed) of Martinsburg; sisters, Rita “Bob” Carr of New York, Velvi “Bee” Lewis of West Salem, OH, Sylvia “Sib” (Stacey) Schiefer of Tunnel Fork; grandchildren, Amanda, Abigail, Andrea, Macy and Logan. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Bryce and Peyton.
