Her funeral service will be 1 P.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Gary Gray officiating.  Interment will follow in the Gill Cemetery, Harrrison.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Sandra Kay Gill, 71, of Duck passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born July 7, 1951 in Charleston, WV to the late Romas Jefferson Laxton and Margaret Jean Duncan Laxton.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Stephen Blaine Gill and her brother, Ernie Laxton.

A homemaker, she loved her family and enjoyed being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She liked to watch television and her favorite shows were Murder She Wrote, Monk, and Little House On The Prairie. She will be truly missed.

Sandy’s memory will be cherished by her daughters, Stephanie Gray and husband, Gary, of Duck and Tanya Hall and husband, Dwayne, of Sutton; six grandchildren; two brothers and five sisters. She is also survived by her 10 great grandchildren and one expecting great grandson; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
