Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Olis Caris Morris, 85, of Frametown, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 at Braxton Health Care Center, Sutton. He was born May 31, 1937 in Duck to the late Okey Carl Morris and Mary Jane Morris Dickey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Morris; son, Scott Morris; and granddaughter, Kristen Bean. Olis was a truck driver. His favorite pastime was reading the daily newspaper front to back. He also enjoyed all aspect of vegetable gardening including the planting, hoeing and overseeing the harvest. Olis enjoyed watching war shows and anything that involved the military. He was a homebody who liked to sit on the front porch and feed the deer. He will be forever remembered by his wife of 46 years, Judy Hamric Morris, of Frametown; son, Kelly Morris (Keira) of Frametown; daughter, Tracy Kay Morris, of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Samantha Morris, Gabby Morris (Aaron Frame), Lillianna Grace Morris, Shannon Bean; great-grandchild, Jackson; sister, Ethelee Jarvis of Ohio; and two nieces.
