Wanda Jean Cottrill, 80, of Rosedale passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV.

She was born November 16, 1941 in Calhoun County to the late Herbert and Virginia Helmick Dickey.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward Cottrill.

Wanda was the best mother in the whole world and she truly enjoyed being mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was very involved in the Rosedale Senior Center. She loved to ride in her side by side, to yardsale and to cook. She will be missed by all her family.

She will be forever remembered by her children, Connie Drake (Ron) of Rosedale, Jeff Cottrill (Lynn) of Rosedale, Roger Cottrill (Jill) of Gassaway, and Eddie Cottrill (Rhonda) of Rosedale; significant other and best friend, Stanley Norman of Shock; brothers, George Dickey (Patty), Kenneth Dickey (Cindy), Herb Dickey (Becky), Rocky Dickey (Brenda), and Stoney Dickey; sisters, Colleen McKown (Walter Cain), Polly McKown and Trish Mick; grandchildren, Stephanie Blackwell, Pamela Blackwell, Rhonda Drake, April Drake, Shaelynn Blackwell, Casey Cottrill, Amanda CSarrazola, Mike Cottrill, Megan Stout, and Kayla Will. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wanda will have a private graveside service at Rosedale Community Cemetery, Rosedale with Minister Vernon Kerns officiating.
