Bruce Myers, 63, of Burnsville, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at WVU Braxton County Memorial Hospital, Gassaway.

He was born August 7, 1958 in Charleston, WV to the late Lloyd and Roxie Bragg Myers.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved golden retriever, Mercy Grace.

Bruce worked for Braxton County Memorial Hospital for 20+ years as a certified dietary manager. He enjoyed making flower arrangements and every year on his wedding anniversary he would make his wife an arrangement or a craft that had red roses in the number of years that they were married. He also enjoyed making handmade crafts and sharing them with those he loved and cared for. He had a great sense of humor and was a wonderful encourager who developed relationships with many friends and others around him. Bruce was a Baptist by faith and loved the Lord.

Bruce’s memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him and he will be greatly missed by his survivors; loving wife, Jenifer Ann Frame Myers; brothers, Bobby Myers, and wife, Pam, of Gassaway and Larry Myers of Frametown; sister, Doris Radcliff of Gassaway; nieces, Angie Wolverton and husband, Davis, of Gassaway, Shell Lynn Johnson and husband, Tim, of Sutton, Amanda Flint and husband, Matthew, of Elyria, Ohio, Monika Myers, Meredith Frame and Amelia Frame both of Elkview; nephews, Dan Rogers and wife, Stacy, of Centralia, Shawn Myers of Summersville, and Joseph Murphy of South Charleston; mother-in-law, Mary Jo Frame of Burnsville ; brother-in-law, Mike Frame and husband, Brian Deweese of Elkview; sister-in-law, Melanie Murphy of South Charleston; and many beloved great nieces and nephews.

His Celebration of Life Service will be 5 P.M. Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Mark Stump officiating.

Visitation will be three hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

In keeping with Bruce’s wishes cremation will follow his services.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Roach Funeral Home to assist with Bruce’s funeral expenses, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, WV 26624.
