Sally Ann Rhodes, 73, of Duck, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.

She was born February 14, 1948 in Clay to the late Abie and Nellie Moore Starcher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Galentine Rhodes; son, Jason Rhodes; and two brothers, Van Delmas Moore and Jerry Starcher.

Sally was a homemaker that took care of her family.  She also drove a school bus for 15 years while she lived in Summit County, OH.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed quilting and made quilts for all of her family members.  She also liked to keep her yard well kept.  She was a strong hardworker who was full of energy. She was a Baptist by faith.

She is survived by her son, Shane Rhodes and wife, Traci, of Norton, OH; daughter, Stephanie Rhodes of Ivydale; grandchildren, Erica Webb, Joshua Rhodes and wife, Shawna, and Chad Rhodes; great grandchildren, Payton and Jason Rhodes; brother, Carl Eugene Arnold, and wife, Helen; and sisters, Phyllis, Sarah, Charlotte, Jeanie, and Barbara.

In keeping with Sally’s wishes she was cremated.

Joint services for Sally and Galentine will be 2 P.M. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, WV.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
