Donald Charles Moore, 74, of Duck, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021.

He was born May 1, 1947 in O’Brion to the late Dallas and Margaret (McCracken) Moore, Sr.

Donald was preceded in death by his brother Dallas Nelson Moore, Jr.

He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic from Ceil I. Walker Machinery.  Donald loved the Lord and he was an avid churchgoer.  He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He had a heart of gold and helped many.

He will be forever remembered by his son, Kenneth; daughters, Katherine and Carol Ann; grandchildren, Tiffany (Alex), Brittany (Kyle), and Patrick (Karlee); and sister, Karen (Ray) Dawson.

Donald is also survived by great-grandchildren: Marty, Serenity, Maria, Granger, Madison, and Clayton; and nieces and nephews Karrie, Ray Jr., Michelle, Clint, Misty, Mandy, Andy and Kandy.

His visitation will be 1 to 2 P.M.  Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, WV.

Donald’s funeral service will be directly after visitation Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew Baker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Moore Farm Cemetery, Duck.
