He was born January 26, 1959 in Braxton County to the late Carl and Mary Louise Godfrey Greathouse. James was an Elvis fan and he enjoyed hearing and watching Elvis. He also enjoyed prankster shows on TV and YouTube. His favorite food was pizza. He was an animal lover and enjoyed playing with his cat. He graduated from Sunbeam Academy in Cleveland, Ohio. He will be forever remembered by his cousin, Joe Carper, of Burnsville and several other cousins; and his cat, Buster.
