Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Rocio Seren Slack, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, November 12, 2021. She was born in Los Palacios, Spain, but grew up in El Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain, where she eventually met her future husband, Wayland Dean Slack, while he was stationed at Naval Station Rota, Spain. She had been a resident of Yorktown, VA since 1986 and moved to Duck, WV in 2019. Rocio was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, Francisco and Francisca Seren Adan, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dean. Rocio will be lovingly remembered by her son, Charles Francis Slack and his wife, Carla, and three granddaughters, Hunter, Cassidy, and Chloe; and her daughter, Dina Slack Weiss and her husband, Billy, and three grandsons, Brandon, Kyle and Westin.
