Maxwell K. “Mike” White, 67, passed away at his home in Frametown on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.

He was born November 8, 1953 in Sutton to the late Lenora L. Hamric.

Mike was raised at Copen by Melvin and Etta Wine.  He had lots of friends.  Mike loved to fish, watch John Wayne movies and hang out at Sam’s Grocery store in Frametown with his best friend, Zac Reed.  He loved to listen to the radio, especially ballgames. Mike was a member of the West Virginia Army National Guard for 21 years.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Godfrey and husband, Pete, of Copen, WV; brother, Clifford “Don” Cupp of Sutton; nieces, Jennie Godfrey of Copen and Margaret Moore and husband Brent and their children, Azailea Godfrey, Josephine, Rebecca, and Zadie Moore of Cedarville and Lynn Cupp and her children, Jalynn Johnson and Keegan Brantley of Birch River.

Graveside service with military rites will be 11 A.M. Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Frame Cemetery, Frametown with Pastor Ed Rollyson officiating.
