Her funeral service will be 1 P.M. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Elder Larry Fisher officiating.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Chapman Cemetery, Servia.

Iva Marie (Dobbins) Hall, 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Clay Health Care Center in Ivydale, WV.

Iva was born October 8, 1926 in Braxton County, WV to the late Gilbert and Florence (Vaughn) Dobbins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband ,Odbert Oscar Hall, whom she married on August 4, 1946.  Iva is also preceded in death by her brothers, Brooks, Roscoe, Mack, Wade, and Donald; and one sister, Irene.

She leaves behind her sister, Thelma Fitzgerald, age 99; two sons, Garry Hall and wife, Judy, and Roger Hall and wife, Diana, all of Duck; three grandsons, Rodney Hall and wife, Brenda, of Longwood, FL, Roger Hall and wife, Denise, of Akron, OH, Christopher Shortall and wife, Ashley, of Gassaway, WV; one granddaughter, Allison Haveard and husband, Ashley, of Milton, FL.  She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Iva was a homemaker and a teacher’s aide for Braxton County Schools for 20 years.  She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking and watching game shows on tv.  She loved having company and spending time with family. Everyone who met her fell in love with her.  She was a Christian by faith and dedicated her life to the Lord many years ago.
