Funeral Service will be 11 A.M. Friday, May 21, 2021 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, WV with Pastor Shane Boggs officiating.  Interment with Military Rites will be in the Braxton Memorial Cemetery, Sutton, WV.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory to his favorite charity, the Salvation Army, at 615 Slaters Lane, Alexandria, VA  22314 or email at [email protected] OR  the Olmsted Falls High School Athletic Boosters, 26939 Bagley Road, Olmsted Falls, OH  44138   in his memory.

Gary Blaine Cutlip, 75, of Sutton, West Virginia, formerly of Medina, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 12, 1946 in Diana, WV to the late Arlie Edgel and Bethel May Hall Cutlip.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Gary was a United States Army Veteran.  While he lived in Medina, Ohio he spent 30 years of his life working for GTE as a telephone installer.  His love for the outdoors was well known as he spent time hunting and fishing.  He was an avid baseball fan and also enjoyed watching it on the television.  Spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite pastime.

He is survived by his daughter, Annette Glover and husband, Jeffrey, of Olmsted TWP, Ohio; his companion of 20 years, Reta Evans, of Sutton; brothers, Sam Cutlip and wife, Pam, of Glenville, WV, Jerry Cutlip and companion, Brenda, of Diana; sisters, Joan Robinson and husband, Rick, of Webster Springs, Texana Casto of Thomasville, NC, Ruth Brooks and husband, Elmer, of Hundred, WV, and Frankie Gillis of Michigan; grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle and Sara Glover all of Olmsted TWP; and Reta’s sons, Joe and Doug Evans.
