Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Engel Chapel Community Church, Gassaway, WV 26624 with Pastor Brace Cook officiating.

Following the service Brian’s request for cremation will be honored.

Brian Lee Baker, 44, of Belvoir, NC passed away at home on Sunday, March 14, 2021.

Brian was born on September 15, 1976 in Charleston, WV.  He spent most of his life in Braxton County, WV where he enjoyed hanging out with a host of family and friends, hunting, fishing, camping and hunting mushrooms and ginseng.  He was employed by Hamills Farms and Lawn Care, Grimesland, NC.  He spent much of his free time spoiling his rotten, but faithful and loyal dogs, Maggie and Jerry, who are missing their daddy bunches.  He was a Christian by faith.

Left behind to cherish many wonderful memories of Brian are his daughter, Victoria Nicole Blake of Wheeling, WV; granddaughters, Lilly Eileen Linger and Ra’Nasia Lynn Mason of Wheeling, WV; his fiancée, Amy Carr of Belvoir, NC; parents, Barbara and Olen Riffle of Gassaway, WV; brothers, Jeremy (Cathy) Baker of Rosedale, WV, Olen (Delphia) Riffle of Gassaway, WV, Roger (Tara) Riffle of Hickory,NC, Tim (Ingrid) Riffle of Hickory, NC, and Scott Baker of Charleston, WV; sisters, Angie (Jason) Baker of Clem, WV and Lisa Baker of Huntington, WV.  He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Baker and grandparents, Norman and Edith Adams and Bonnie and Gary Baker.
