This came as a huge shock when I heard. I probably have not seen Chad in almost 25+ years, but the memories of high school came rushing back. While I remember Chad as a great football and baseball player, there is one memory that immediately came back to me. I remember many nights at Chad's house playing guts. His dad worked nights and we would meet at his house and play cards to all hours of the night. It feels like it was just yesterday. Sorry for your lose. Way to soon.

I was very sorry to hear about Chads passing. He is my fraternity brother from UConn and one of the toughest people I’ve ever met. I was just talking about him and will continue to do so. Rest in peace brother YITB Joe H (TKE 565)

Chad Martin was a beloved member of the Delta Gamma chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity at the University of Connecticut where he also played tight end for the football team. Frater Chad was a larger than life character and was well respected by his fraternity brothers for his toughness and his sense of humor. Rest easy brother, Yours in the Bond The Brothers of TKE
