Jarvis, 75, originally from Braxton County, WV died on December 19, 2023. She was born in Gassaway, WV on April 27, 1948, to Dessie (Carr) Jarvis and Staley Jarvis. She grew up in Wilsie, WV and graduated from Gassaway High School. After graduation Linda moved to Maryland, studied Accounting, and began working for Bechtel Corporation. Aside from Maryland, her accounting career took her to Mississippi, Washington, DC, and then back to her native Braxton County. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brothers, Bradley Jarvis, and Wendell Jarvis. She is survived by two nephews, Eric Jarvis of Elkridge, MD, and Nathan Jarvis (wife Ashley Geohaghan) of Washington, DC. She was a member of Christ Church United Methodist in Sutton, WV.
