Susan Faith Ramsey, 77, of Gassaway, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

She was born June 25, 1946, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Fred and Mary Stickland Duffield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Kersey, Fannie Mollohan, Barbara Smith, and Nellie Bailey; and brother, Richard Duffield.

Susan was a homemaker and raised two children. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She enjoyed crafting and gardening. Watching the Hallmark and News Channels on the television were favorite pastimes. She loved to take care of her chihuahua.

She will be forever remembered by her son, Lloyd Ramsey and wife, Maggie of Frametown and Michelle Pierce and husband, Matthew of Elyria, Ohio; grandchildren, Joshua Ramsey of Cleveland and Allison Ramsey of Charleston; brother, Charles Duffield and sister, Emma Lou Patitucci; several nieces and nephews and beloved furbaby, Lucy.

Susan’s funeral will be held 3 P.M. Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Mark Stump officiating.

Her visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in the Sirk Cemetery, Duck.
