His inurnment with military rites will be 11 A.M. Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Kniceley-McCray Cemetery, Caress with Allen Kniceley officiating.

Becky and Christy would like to take this time to express deep, sincere, and heartfelt gratitude to all of the staff at Braxton Health Care Center for the care they so lovingly devoted to their father.

Everyone is welcome to bring chairs, blankets and a picnic lunch for yourselves after the services at Napier. Details will be shared after the service.

Gregory Lee Kniceley, 72, of Sutton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 6, 2023.

He was born on November 16, 1950, to the late Nolan and Patsy Ruth Linville Kniceley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Philip Kniceley.

Gregg was an outdoorsman and loved hunting with his best friend, Wayne Marple. He loved fishing and watching sunrises and sunsets at the St. Augustine Beach Pier. Most of all, Gregg was an excellent father and a hard worker and was loved by all that met and knew him.

He will be forever remembered by his two daughters, Rebecca Dawn Ware and Christy Michelle Ratliff and husband, David; three grandchildren, Kayla, Anthony and Ashlee; one great grandchild, Rhygel; sister, Kathy Porter; brothers, Allen, Jeff, Shawn, and Chad; stepmother, Mary Jo Kniceley; and multiple nieces, nephews and extended family.
