Alvie was cremated.  There will be no services.

Alvie was our pastor in the Hacker Valley UM Charge several years ago. He was such a good person, so devoted to the Lord, and always willing to help. Our prayers and condolences to his wife Sue and the rest of his family.

Oh my, I just looked on this site for someone and seen this. I loved Allie, I really got to know him and Sue at Clay Healthcare Center when I would visit my sister. Alvie and my husband worked together driving bus. When my husband passed 3 yes ago, Sue sent me cards on a regular basis, I don't think she ever knew how much they meant to me. Alvie will be truly missed..

So sorry for your loss. Alvie was such a kind and gentle man. I always looked forward to seeing him when I was working . He made the shift so much easier with his light hearted jokes. White Top, as I always called him, you will be missed by RedTop, that’s what he always called me.
