Wayne Edward Hinkle, 74, of Craigsville, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025 at home.

He was born on July 28, 1950 in Richwood to the late Wallace and Elsie Case Hinkle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bob, Roy, Delbert, and Jimmie; sisters, Wilda, Ruth, Leatha, and Tiny May; sister-in-law, Ginger Short; and father-in-law, Jubert Williams; his daughter, Becky Lively; and his son, Little Wayne Hinkle, Jr.

Wayne was a master carpenter who owned his own construction company that built million-dollar homes. He thoroughly loved being outdoors, camping and sitting by the river. He loved detailing his vehicles. Wayne was a Christian by faith.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Amy Williams Hinkle; fur Baby, Sophie; mother-in-law, Hazel Williams; sisters-in-law, Tammy (Rick), Angie (Gary), Joy (Robert); brother-in-law, Ronnie Short; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; and his children, Dulcey Lee and David Hinkle.

In keeping with Wayne’s wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services.
