Smith (nee James), passed away February 5, 2022 in Carmel, IN. She was born July 28, 1935 in Clay, West Virginia. She was a beloved mother to Teresa Marie Smith, and James Gregory Smith (Rachelle), loving grandmother of James Isaiah Smith, Katrina Diane Smith and Easton Rance Smith and great grandmother to Sebastian Smith, Zoey Todd, Sayla and Samara Smith. She was the daughter of the late William Ransom and Lelah Mamie James; sister of Evelyn Rogers (Orval;dec), the late Mava Parsons (Lewis;dec), Ellen Taylor (Leo;dec), Joseph James (Pebble;dec), Ransom James Jr (Dora;dec), Paul James (Jean;dec), and Polly Kay Moore (James;dec). Jenna was the aunt of many nieces and nephews, and chosen adopted mother of many many more. Jenna was a member of Sedalia First Baptist Church in Sedalia, Missouri. Home was wherever she was.
