Sharon L. Gill, 79, of Flatwoods, WV passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, after a long illness.

She was born on June 7, 1946, in Sutton, WV to the late Carol L. Gillespie and Frederick B. Gillespie.

Friends and family will remember her for her quick wit and infectious laugh, and her kindness and devotion to her family. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone she met; she made strangers feel like family. She loved music and dancing and would often spend many nights listening to the local radio station before going to bed.

Sharon is survived by her spouse, Frankie L. Gill; brothers, Thomas Gillespie and wife, Marcella, and Michael Gillespie and wife, Kathy; her children from her prior marriage, Tina L. Squires and husband, Eric, Randy L. Williams and wife, Mindy, James Clark Williams, and Matthew Todd Williams; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Roger L. Williams; and daughters, Christina A. Williams and Tammy L. Williams.

Her visitation will be from 1 to 3 P.M. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, WV.

The funeral will be 3 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Eric Veltre officiating.

Following services she will be cremated.

An inurnment will be in the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens, Heaters at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens, c/o Terry Crislip, 2408 Gem Road, Burnsville, WV 26335.
