Frankie Sue Drake, 90, of Sutton, formerly of Wilsie, met her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Braxton Healthcare Center, Sutton.

She was born on February 17, 1936, in Clay County to the late Leaty A. Hamrick.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas “Arlie” Ratliff and Charlie Raymond Ratliff; and sister, Reba McCracken.

She is survived by her brother, David Ratliff and wife, Joyce, of Wilsie; sister, Nancy Keener of Gassaway; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Frankie loved doing embroidery. She liked to be around people and her family. She was a member of Charity Baptist Church and in her younger days she enjoyed participating in singing, worship service and Sunday School.

Frankie’s funeral will be 11A.M on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, WV with Pastor Roger Carter officiating.

Burial will follow in the Koch Cemetery, Ivydale.

Her visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
