Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor Rodney England officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. In keeping with Rick’s wishes, he will be cremated and an inurnment will be at a later date in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar. Special thanks to Central WV Aging, WV Caring, VA Home Health Team, and WVU-BCMH Med-Surg, hospice nurses, doctors and aides for their compassionate care of Rick. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Legion Post #33 Honor Guard, P.O. Box 137, Sutton, WV 26601.
