Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Reverend Tom Harper officiating. Interment will follow in the Beall’s Mill Cemetery, Gassaway. Visitation will be four hours prior to the service at the funeral home, starting at 10 A.M. A special thanks to all of the caregivers at Kanawha Hospice for their compassionate care of Shorty. I was a member of the class of 1967 with Shorty. I remember coming back to our class reunions and Shorty would have donated so many items from his store to the reunion. I have my Gassaway Elks tee shirt that I look back on with pride. RIP dear friend.
