Burial Date January 13, 2023

Fred’s funeral will be 1 P.M. Friday, January 13, 2023 at Roach Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Raynor officiating.  Interment will be in the Jenkins Homeplace Cemetery on Poplar Lick.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.

Fredrick J. “Fred” Jenkins, Sr., 71, of Frametown passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at home.

He was born August 15, 1951 in Sutton to the late Donnie Jenkins and Hadie Clevenger Jenkins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by granddaughter, Ricki Lynn Jenkins; brothers, Ralph and James Jenkins; and sisters, Marie Jordan and Rosie Jenkins.

In Fred’s life he was a mechanic.  He was a dedicated hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed listening to music of all kinds and dancing.  He was a good father loved by all his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

He will be forever remembered by his sons, Fredrick Jenkins, Jr. of Gassaway, Richard J. Jenkins of Frametown, and Tony Jenkins of Cambridge, Ohio; grandchildren, Samuel Jackson Jenkins and Selene A. Shepherd; companion, Jessica McLaughlin of Gassaway; several nieces and nephews, and dear friend Julia Champion..
