Clarence Junior Stout, 86, of Flatwoods passed away July 27, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born April 18, 1934 a son of the late Gertrude Perkins Stout and Lonnie Stout.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; Murl, Russ, Richard, Harry, Dencil, Don, Burt and Eugene; and his sisters, Mona Facemire and Garnet Smarr.  Clarence was the last surviving sibling in his family.

After working for 34 years, Junior retired from Kenton Meadows Company as an equipment operator of the paving crew.  He was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, brothers and sisters.  Junior was an avid motorcyclist and rode his Harley along with his other motorcycles.  He enjoyed hunting and watching Westerns on the television.

Junior will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 63 years, Elah Jean Ratliff Stout; sons, Bill Stout and wife, Donna of Flatwoods and Tim Stout and wife, Margaret of Bridgeport, WV; grandson, Garrett Stout; granddaughter, Devan Stout; and four great grandchildren; Madison, Isaac, Morgan and Nathan.

In keeping with Junior’s wishes he will be cremated and no services will be held.
