Kathy, as many knew her by, grew up in Corley, WV. She was a beloved member of her community and church. She was known for her compassion, kindness, hard work ethic, & beautiful soul. She loved her lord and savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of the Mt. Hebron Methodist church, for many years.

She had held many hats over the years, from 4-H leader to Sunday School teacher, but above all being a proud, loving mother and grandmother, was her greatest accomplishment. She loved spending time with her family, friends, listening to music, and being outdoors whether tending to her garden or just sitting in the sun. On beautiful summer days if she wasn’t at home, she could be found by the river searching for rocks and listening to her John Prine.

As giving as Kathy is along with her desire to help others, she chose to donate her body to West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
