Sheila’s funeral will be held 1 P.M. Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, WV 26624 with Pastor Richie Propst officiating.

Her visitation for family and friends will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery, Gassaway, WV.

Sheila Renee Dobbins Leggett, 44, of Burnsville passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at home.

She was born on June 1, 1980, in Weston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Martin Dobbins and Thelma Chapman Dobbins; brother, Randy Dobbins.

Sheila was very creative and enjoyed drawing. She listened to country and alterative type music. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed hiking and chasing the view of waterfalls. She loathed hunting season in the autumn. Sheila worked out of the home as a clerk at many restaurants in Braxton County. Taking care of her special service dog brought Sheila great joy in her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Anthony Leggett; sons, Damon Dobbins, Kaden Pegg, Zane Leggett; brothers, Johnny Dobbins, Jimmy (Carolyn) Dobbins, James Thompson, and Michael Carter; sister, Jess Thompson; and her beloved service dog, Tatum.
