Donald Eugene Mallory, 89, of Burnsville, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, Weston, WV.

He was born August 9, 1935, in Greensboro, Pennsylvania.

Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Householder Boone; his father, Eli Boone; his wife, Ruth Mallory; brother, Bill Mallory; and sister, Betty Lawley.

For over 40 years Donald worked as an accountant. He was a sweet and kind gentleman who enjoyed life and spending time with his family. Donald played the saxophone over his lifetime, sharing his music in many churches and nursing homes. He enjoyed reading and was an avid collector of minerals and gems. Donald was a member of Gassaway United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his three sons, Jeff (Sharon) Mallory of Burnsville, Mike Mallory of Conway, SC, and Greg (Kristin) Mallory of Salisbury, MD; five grandchildren, Deanna Booth, Jeremy Mallory, Sarah Singleton, Donald Paul Mallory and Katherine Mallory; as well as eight great grandchildren.

In keeping with Donald’s wishes he will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held December 14, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Gassaway United Methodist Church, Gassaway, WV with Reverend Jim Burrough officiating.
