Carter, 72, of Rosedale passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Rosedale on February 3, 1952, to the late Orville Carter and Edith King Carter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 siblings. In his life he worked as a timberman and in a truss plant. Donald always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his friends. He will be missed. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Vicky E. Lowe Carter; sons, Justin Carter (Jessica) and Josh Carter (Lynn Cupp); grandchildren, Jalynn and Keegan; brothers, Tim Carter and Jerry Carter; sister, Janet Carter; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Dustin Crislip and Katie Hupp. A private interment will be held in the Rosedale Community Cemetery.
