Wyonetta J Jarvis, 97, a woman of great faith from Titusville, FL, formerly of Gassaway, WV, entered into rest with her Saviour Jesus Christ on August 2, 2024, after a long stay in the Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born in Copen, WV in 1927 to the late Ivan H. and Naomi (Wine) Kelly.

Wyonetta was a devoted Christian who cherished her Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. She attended New Life Chapel of Titusville and New Life Chapel of Gassaway, WV and held an “Able Minister” diploma from Christian Retreat, Bradenton, FL. She loved the Lord.

Wyonetta was preceded in death by 11 siblings: Myrtle Schrader, Sadie Barker, James H Kelly, Dorsey Kelly, Walter Kelly, Ivan Kelly, Jr., Florene McMorrow, Louise Criner, Doris Kelly, Russell Kelly, Emogene Trent, her first husband Jessie Willard Stewart, and her second husband Charles Kenneth Jarvis. Wyonetta is survived by 2 sons, Lewis Stewart & Michael (Teresa) Stewart, 4 grandchildren, Brian Scott Stewart, Christy Thompson, Michelle James and Christina Gagnon and great grandson Hunter Gagnon.

Her funeral service will be 1 P.M. Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, WV with Pastor Robert “Bob” Meadows officiating.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

She will be laid to rest at Stone Run Cemetery in Flatwoods, WV.
