Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Charles Henry Ashley, II, of Sutton, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Glenville Health and Rehabilitation, Glenville, WV. He was born on February 15, 1958, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Charles Henry Ashley, Sr. and Barbara Ann Highmiller Ashley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Robert Ashley. Charles was a resident of Glenville Center. He was voted resident of the month for May 2024. The staff and residents spoke highly of him and his personality. He was always laughing and greeted others at the door. He will be missed by all those who knew him and had a relationship with him. He was a Lutheran by faith. Earlier in his life he worked at a railroad tie yard. He is survived by his son, Jason Ashley; daughter, Heather Watson; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; and longtime companion, Betty Elliott.
