Leann Marie Lucas, 51, of Little Birch, passed away June 20, 2016.

She was born October 7, 1964 in Germany.

Leann worked for Rite Aid in Sutton for 13 years. She loved the beach and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Gunnels; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert Lee Lucas, Sr. and Anne Jean Dobbins Lucas; sister-in-law, Beverly Jean Lucas.

She is survived by husband, Robert Lee Lucas, Jr.; sons, Travis Lee Lucas and Wyatt James Lucas; sister, Christy Czarzasty of Florida; brother, Jeff Gunnels of Florida; mother, Rose Wallace of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

I cannot sleep my heart is breaking. The only girl I ever loved or ever thought I could be loved by. My soul mate, my wife, the love of my life for 24 years that has gone by in the blink of an eye has passed on Leann Marie Lucas . She loved me unconditionally and she loved her boys so much, there was nothing she wouldn’t do for those boys, Travis Lucas and Wyatt Lucas. My heart is breaking. She loved everyone so much & had so many friends. I was always so amazed by people I would meet that knew my Leann and they always said the same thing what a sweet woman she is. My heart is breaking and words cannot describe how much I already miss her, my love, my life, my wife. My heart is broken! I will always love Leann Marie Lucas !

Per Leann’s request, her body was cremated.

Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Elder Mark Minney officiating.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the memorial service.
