Desirae Ann Stilwell, 17, of Birch River passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

She was born on December 13, 2005 in Beckley.

Preceding her in death were her great aunt, Charlotte Cogar; grandmother, Cathy Frame; Uncle, Jason Stilwell; aunt, Amanda Myers Evans; and grandfather, Clarence Myers.

Desirae was an 11^th grade homeschooled student.  She was a big hearted kid who loved animals. She was a creative artist that enjoyed drawing and painting with acrylics.  She was musically inclined and could play the clarinet.  She had a fondness for sunflowers and rainbows.  Desirae enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend and her family.

Her memories will be cherished by her father, Bobby Stilwell (Christine Frame); mother, Virginia Myers (Stacey George); brother, Jeremiah Stilwell; sisters, Bethany George, Marionna George; stepbrother, Hunter George; grandfather, James Frame; grandmother, Mary Myers; grandparents, Melody Stilwell and Arthur Neff; aunt, April Myers, and uncles, Harry Myers and Josh Stilwell.

Desirae’s visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway.

Her funeral will be 11 A.M. Thursday, March 23 at the funeral home with Reverend Bill Burdette and Pastor Luke Malensek officiating.

Burial will follow in the Stilwell Family Cemetery, Strange Creek.
