Sarah Lorrain Sartin, 53, of Little Birch, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at home.

She was born December 24, 1968, in Sutton to Rosemary Riffle Wyne of Gassaway and the late Jessie B. King.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jessie W. King; maternal grandparents, Madeline and Omer Riffle; and special aunt, Sarah Shaffer.

Sarah was a homemaker.  She loved the outdoors and loved to sit on the porch to watch and hear birds.  She enjoyed crocheting.

In addition to her mother she will be forever remembered by her husband, Harold Sartin of Little Birch; son, Ricky Harper and fiancée, Leilani Suttner, of Little Birch; daughters, Ashley Harper and companion, Billy Sparks, of Burnsville; Madeline Rose and fiancé, Thomas McCumbers of Gassaway, and Samaria Harper of Cowen;  sisters, Mary Riffle of Gassaway, Sandra Sartin and husband, Marvin, of Little Birch, Bonnie Ross and husband Michael, of Birch River, Genelda Brown of Frametown, and Pam Hawks of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Ashlyn Richardson, Sarah Rose, Ethen Rose, Aduim Rose, Kristian Chapman, and Zoey Chapman; aunt, Retha Miller and husband, Charles, of Exchange; uncle, Olen Riffle and wife, Barbara, of Gassaway; and 12 nieces and nephews.

In keep with Sarah’s wishes she will be cremated and no service.
