Burl Life was born in Frametown, West Virginia on December 26, 1931 and passed away March 20, 2022, in Ohio, at the age of 90 years old.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben Scott and Jessie Melinda Life; one brother and four sisters.

Burl was always setting a good example of hard work and dedication. He loved and often visited his hometown in West Virginia. Burl retired from General Motors after 40 years. He was a handyman in all things from home improvements to fixing cars.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Dee, of 65 years of marriage; his three children, Melinda Burgwald (Keith), Rocky Life, and Shirlee Livelsberger (Terry); six grandchildren, Kristain (Katie), Megan, Dane, Sarah, Tyler, Laura (Keith). Burl is also survived by his four great grandchildren; Camden, Kira, Metta, and Wesley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We all will miss our husband, Dad, grandpa and great grandpa.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, March 25, 2022 at Roach Funeral Home Gassaway, WV.

Graveside Service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 26th with Rev. Rich Demastus officiating at Keener-Stout Cemetery, Frametown, WV.
