Tuesday, March 8, 2022, our rebel Angel, Alan Weese, gained his wings.  With a grin from ear to ear, Alan took his last mortal breath after a long battle with cancer and ascended to the Heavenly Kingdom.  There he was met by his parents, Dennis Randall and Ella Louise McIntyre Weese.

Alan was born November 28, 1965 in Gassaway, WV.

He is survived by his loving wife, Hope Weese; adopted daughters, Katy and Alicia (Mark); grandchildren, Maria, Randall, Michael, Chasity, Harmony and Alison; siblings, Dennis “PeeWee” (Cherri) Weese, DeeDee (Shane) Dean, Patty (John) Piasecki, Leslie (Kim) Weese; adopted siblings, Rodney, Doug, Jeff, Brad, Donald, Carolyn, and Dale; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Alan had the biggest heart and spent most of his adulthood volunteering his handyman service to anyone who needed a helping hand.  10 years ago he showed up at the door of Encore in Gassaway and was a vital part of the daily operations ever since.

Following the generous nature of Alan, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local Food Pantry or Hospice.

Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway with Pastor David Gunter officiating.  Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Chapel.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday, March 12^th at the funeral home.
