Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Violet Mae James, 81, of Frametown, WV passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was born July 19, 1940 in Braxton County. Violet was preceded in death by her father, Ernie Rollyson and her mother, Essie Hall Rollyson as well as her stepmother, Edna Rollyson Crislip. She was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Violet was a Methodist by faith and attended Belfont Simpson Church and Spruce Grove Methodist Church for many years. She was also co-owner of James Store and Texaco in Frametown with her husband, Forrest, from 1977 to 1987. Violet’s memory will always be cherished by her husband of 59 years, Forrest O. James; her children, Caroline Brady (Dale), Wayne James (Cindy), Devona James (Jeff Foss); four grandchildren, Catricia Martin (Jeff), Eliska Brady, Gavin James, and Alec James; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Bailey Martin; brothers, Ray Rollyson (Edith), and Tommy Rollyson (Verdine); and nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
