Audrey Duffield, 91, of Gassaway passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her son’s residence.

She was born April 25, 1930 in Gassaway to the late John Morrison Frame and Samantha Darrell Reynolds Frame.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Duffield; one sister, Ethel Weiss; and four brothers, Howard Frame, Dick Frame, Wes Frame and Ted Frame.

Audrey was a homemaker and a Christian by faith.  Her passion in life was helping people in need.  She also helped those in the community plan their weddings.  Audrey could often be found stocking up on household supplies for families that were in crisis.  In her retirement years she was a volunteer at the Braxton County Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary.  She loved her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, David “Butch” Duffield (Patty), and Brad Duffield (Regina); grandson, Chase Duffield (Ellen); two granddaughters, Erica McCormick (Jon) and Elissa Long-Tevis (Art); great grandsons, Jaxon, Owen, and Riley; and one sister, June Cochran.

In keeping with Audrey’s wishes she will be cremated.  There will be no services.
