A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, August 21 from 12 Noon to 1 P.M. at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, WV. Shauna’s Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 P.M. at the funeral home with Reverend Johnny Conrad officiating.  Immediately after the service a private family inurnment will be held at Sugar Creek Cemetery.  Flowers and sympathies may be sent to Roach Funeral Home.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the ICU staff at Sentara Princess Ann Hospital and Altmeyer Funeral Home in Virginia for their care and compassion during this trying time.

A dinner will follow the Inurnment at the Rosedale community Center.

It is with deep sorrow and much love we mourn the passing of Shauna Lee Shepherd Martin of Manteo, NC on July 24, 2021 at the age of 47.

She will be lovingly remembered by her four children; John Robert Scudder,III (Emma), Rebecca Grace Mae Scudder, Jeremiah Martin, and Joshua Adam Martin; six grandchildren; her mother, Sheila Shepherd Adwell; one sister, Erika Mollohan; and two nieces, JoAnna Mollohan Waggoner and Cali Miller.

Shauna was preceded in death by her two children; Matthew Martin and Macey Martin; two brothers, Curtis and Travis Clayton and her grandparents, Robert Junior Shepherd and Edna Mae Shepherd.

She was born in Grantsville, WV.  She loved living at the beach, but her final wishes were to be buried in West Virginia.
