Norma Sue Robinson went to be with Jesus on July 22, 2021 at the age of 84.

She was an only child born August 14, 1936 to the late H.G and Jesse Robinson.  She attended Gassaway High School where her father taught biology.  Sue was the ultimate daddy’s girl.  She retired from her job at the WV State Tax Department to take care of her mother.

Sue was a volunteer for Hearts of Hope.  She was a lifelong member of the Gassaway United Methodist Church and she loved music.  The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Sue.  She loved spending evenings with her friends joking and laughing.  She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities.  She especially enjoyed walking Lee Street with her cane and walker.  When she wasn’t able to walk she still enjoyed going in her wheelchair and talking to all her neighbors.  Her pleasant smile was contagious to everyone she met.  Sue had a passionate love affair with ice cream and milkshakes from the Dairy Queen.  She will be deeply missed by many friends and cousins.

In honoring Sue’s wishes she was cremated.

Inurnment service will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Sugar Creek Cemetery, Gassaway with Reverend Steve White officiating .
