Roy Lee Hawkins, 69, of Sutton went home to be with the Lord, Friday, July 2, 2021.

He was born March 14, 1952, in Ashland, Ohio to the late Roy Ray and Imogene Shaver Hawkins.

Roy retired from Operating Engineers Local 132.  He enjoyed running his tractor, keeping the grass mowed, and spending time with his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 44 years, Alice Lane Hawkins; daughters, Nicole Cox and Darius, and Michelle Hawkins; grandsons, Kaden Cox, Jorden Cox, and Branden Cox; granddaughters, Aalayah Hawkins, Aria Hawkins, and Jasmine Williams; brothers, John W. Hawkins and Libby, David S. Hawkins, James Hawkins and Lisa; sisters, Janet Wine and Terry, and Ruth Calsada and Bryan.  He is survived by his special nephew who he thought of as a son, and also his adopted family who helped Roy tremendously while he was living.

At Roy’s request he will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
