Share your Memorial with Family & Friends Leona Kay Bosley, 74, of Burnsville, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at home. She was born March 10, 1946 in Gassaway to the late Burl Eugene and Dorthy Rada Parson King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shannon Rondle Bosley; five brothers; six sisters; two grandchildren, Maranda Yvonne Bosley and Nathan Andrew Branham; and one great grandchild, Sophia Elizabeth Flint. Leona was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. She was an avid birdwatcher and bird feeder. She enjoyed cooking and made fantastic biscuits. She loved eating Mr. Bee potato chips. Every morning she watched her game shows, Let’s Make a Deal and The Price is Right, on the television. In the afternoon, she watched her soap opera “stories”. She was a Christian by faith. Leona loved company and her family being around her. She will be fondly remembered by her three sons, Rondle Lee Bosley and wife, Cathy, Charles Eugene Bosley, and Mark Bosley and wife, Janet; three daughters, Darlene Gray Singleton and husband, Rick, Roberta Faye Bosley, and Joyce Rayon Bosley; one brother, Loyd King; twin sister, Iona Royster; sisters, Brenda McCullough and Rosemary Yeager. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight grandchildren. In keeping with Leona’s wishes she will be cremated and there will no services. Arrangements by Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway.
